Title of operation: The »Challenges of Intercultural Coexistence« Project

A short description of the project:

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the development of the values ​​of interculturalism and to improve the professional skills of the educational staff for the successful integration of immigrant children from other linguistic and cultural backgrounds in the Slovenian educational system. The project aims to ensure the training of professional staff in educational institutions in which immigrant children are enrolled.

The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Social Fund. The operation is carried out under the Operational Program for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy for the period 2014-2020, the priority axis: 10. »Knowledge, skills and lifelong learning for better employability«, priority investment: 10.1 »Strengthening equal accessibility of lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal environments, upgrading the knowledge, competences and skills of the workforce, and promoting flexible learning opportunities, including vocational guidance and validation of acquired competences«, a specific objective: 10.1.3 »Promoting flexible forms of learning and supporting quality career guidance for the schooling youth at all levels of the education system« and a public tender for the selection of operations of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport named »Strengthening the social and civic competences of professional workers«, published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 35/16, dated 13 May 2016.
